10th to 12th April 2010
In April a Video Installation was projected inside the site's protective building.
Film maker, Dan Farberoff developed a looped projection piece based on workshops with local deaf and hearing-impaired people in March. The work aimed to explore the site's history and environment through the use of digital media, communicating through light the message of a unique and historic structure.
Working with PVA MediaLab the Roman Town House was awarded £5000 from The Big Lottery Fund. The Big Lottery Fund distributes half of the National Lottery good cause funding across the UK. The Fund aims to enable others to make real improvements to communities and the lives of people most in need.
Images of the installation are available at the PVA MediaLab website
